$CHOLARSHIP $COOP..........                                                                updated 4-22-08

$CHOLAR$HIP information and applications  are found in the scholarship file cabinet in the Career Room.

All scholarships received in this office will be posted in the monthly senior bulletins and updated weekly in the

Career Room above the scholarship file cabinet or found on the BHS web page at www.bps-ok.org/bhs  .

Watch for the scholarships that apply to you.  The due dates for applications that contain a portion which

your counselor must complete or attach a transcript are listed below in the “counselor deadline” column.

It is to your advantage to get these scholarships to your counselor as early as possible.    Many scholarship

applications are to be completed on line.  The websites and deadlines are listed below.

PLEASE NOTE:  Almost every university offers a variety of scholarships to first time entering freshmen.  They may be based on academics, need, or specific areas of study and usually require early application.  It would be impossible to list all of the “University specific” scholarships on this bulletin.  You may find some of these in our college file in the Career Room filed by state and then college.  Also, the college websites will provide this information.  If space permits, we will list scholarships to a particular college as we receive specific information, however priority will be given to scholarships not associated to a particular college.  You must apply to the college or university before you apply for a specific scholarship or financial aid.
