Benchmark: Assessment Performance

Background

In this section you will see how to access data on how your students did as a whole on an assessment, as well as how they did as a whole on each curricular standard/objective. You can also see how individual students did on any available assessments.

Directions
  1. Access Benchmark by following the directions from the login section.
  2. On the main screen select Benchmark test results from the middle section, or on other screens hold your mouse over Reports on the menu bar and then select Benchmark test results.
  3. Select the correct school year and student group (typically a course name).

  5. After a delay, you'll see charts summarizing how students did as a whole on the assessment. They are grouped by their overall proficiency. You can print the charts (note that the color bars may not print out on a monochrome printer) by selecting Print on the upper right of the Benchmark screen.

  6. To see how the students did on the assessed curricular standards/objectives, select the By Standard tab.
  7. After a delay, you'll see a listing of each standard/objective with a bar showing how many of the students achieved mastery on it. There will also be a pie chart grouping students into proficiency groups. You can print the charts (note that the color bars may not print out on a monochrome printer) by selecting Print on the upper right of the Benchmark screen.
  8. Select the By Individual tab if you want to search for how an individual student performed on ALL available assessments, not just yours. You can then click Zoom-In to see if the student did or did not master each standard/objective on each of the assessments.
  9. When you are finished with an assessment, either Logout or select a different option from the Benchmark menu bar.
