When do classes begin and end?
Most students start their classes at 8:25 am and conclude them at 3:05 pm. Some athletics programs begin with 6th period, and others begin after school. The day schedule follows:

What are the school's office hours?
The office is open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on days school is in session.
Is there a school calendar / events schedule online?
Yes, there is a daily BHS Events Calendar and also online Sports Calendar/Schedules. There are 2007-08 and 2008-09 school year calendars in Adobe Reader format.
What do I do if my child will be absent from school?
If your child will be absent for any reason, call the Attendance Office at 336-0387.
What do I do if my child needs to take medication during school hours?
If your child needs to take medication, please fill out a medication form which can be obtained in the main office.
What if my child becomes ill or is injured at school?
If it is necessary to contact you due to an emergency during school hours, either you or your emergency contact will be called. It is very important that you have updated information in the school's office so that we may contact you if there is an emergency.
How can I see my child's grades and other information online?
You need to come by the school between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm with a photo ID to sign up for the free PowerSchool Parent Portal
Where should a visitor to campus park and report?
Any time you visit the campus, you must check in at security desk in the main foyer or in the main office. Park in the designated visitor parking on either side of the circle drive off Hillcrest Drive, and enter the building through the main entrance. The main office is just to the left of the foyer.

What is the school's location?
BHS is located in the southwest part of Bartlesville, which is a town of 35,000 located about 45 miles north of Tulsa, in northeastern Oklahoma, USA. The address is 1700 Hillcrest Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74003-7299. You can map the location on Mapquest.
What are the school rules and regulations?
Many of the pertinent rules and regulations are given in the Student & Parent Handbook which is online and also printed in the front of the Agenda each student receives at enrollment.
Where can I find information on the Fine Arts Center?
Online information can be found under the "Activities" category here or by entering bhsfac.org in your web browser. You can also call BHS at (918) 336-3311 and ask to speak to Ricky Newkirk, the Fine Arts Center, or email her at NewkirkRG@bps-ok.org.
How do I get information on the renovations at BHS?
There is a massive website documenting the renovations from the 2001 Building on Excellence bond issue.
Is there a collection of yearbooks I can view?
Yes! The new library has an alumni archive room which contains a yearbook collection, scrapbooks, some of the old school newspapers, and other memorabilia. It is open to the public during regular school hours.Alumni room
What is the school's ACT/SAT code number?
Bartlesville High School's code for ACT/SAT test registration is 370-265. Additional information is on the testing page in the counselors section of this website.
What employment opportunities or positions do you have open?
There is an online listing of open positions at the district website. For the most up-to-date information, call the school at (918) 336-3311 and ask for the Principal's secretary.
