The main entrance to the 1939 building is on the middle level. The foyer will be renovated with windows into the main office and the new library/media center, which is being created out of the 1939 auditorium and an adjoining classroom. This will also provide access through the middle floor of the 1958 annex to a new enclosed connecting link on the lower level that bridges the 1958 annex to the 1954 stadium and then proceeds south to link up the 1939 field house, 2004 fine arts center, and 2006 field house.
The middle level of the campus is the seating entry level of the new field house and the balcony of the new auditorium on the south end of campus.
The new science wing connects to the middle and upper floors of the 1939 building at its north end. This level of the new wing has two biology labs and one physics lab, as well as a room for student projects. Each lab is approximately 1600 square feet, with an adjoining stockroom/office. The new wing also has boys and girls restrooms on each floor. The old science labs in the main building and annex have become regular classrooms.
A new heating and air conditioning system should be installed in all of the main building, annex, and stadium. Almost all instructional areas will be handicapped accessible, and the restrooms will be expanded and renovated. The main office will be renovated and two classrooms on the middle level of the 1958 annex are being remodeled into an area for multiple-handicapped students.
