- 6/30/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The progress on the exterior can be seen in an updated fine arts slideshow. Broadband visitors can view updated PixArounds from 18th and Hillcrest and from 18th and Crestview.
- 6/24/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: Significant progress has been made on the west building exterior, which broadband visitors can see in an updated northwest corner PixAround.
- 6/15/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The landscaping is almost complete, and can be seen in the updated northwest viewpoint slideshow. Broadband visitors can view an updated PixAround from that location. The interior slideshow has also been updated, and there is an updated snapshot of the 2nd floor demolition.
- 6/7/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The interior casework and various wall boards are almost complete. Broadband visitors can see an updated Physics lab PixAround. The updated interior slideshow shows that doors, suspended ceilings, and trophy cases are in and the paint job is almost complete. A new snapshot shows the demolition which has begun where the 2nd floor connects to the main building.
- 5/31/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: There is a new snapshot showing the southeast exterior of the building. Broadband visitors can enjoy updated PixAround views from 18th and Crestview and from midway along 18th.
- 5/27/2003 (One Year Since Phase Two Began):
Phase Two - Science: The science wing should be completed within a month. The exterior foundation has been painted, as can be seen in the updated northwest exterior slideshow as well as the
alleyway slideshow. Broadband visitors can enjoy related PixArounds from the northwest lot and the alleyway.
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The progress on the upper exterior of the auditorium can be seen in an updated pressbox PixAround.
- 5/21/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The exterior finish is well along on the upper areas of the structure. An updated stage PixAround shows how the upper areas have been closed in. The auditorium steel is complete, the concrete for the balcony is being installed, and work has resumed on the orchestra pit.
- 5/15/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The second floor is a couple of weeks from final inspection. The various instructional boards are going up on the walls and casework installation continues. Broadband visitors can view the progress in an updated Advanced Chemistry lab PixAround.
- 5/4/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The exterior is approaching completion, as shown in a new nighttime snapshot. There is a fun new comparison of rendering to reality showing how the actual building matches up to its planned appearance. The northwest exterior slideshow has been updated, as has the PixAround from the northwest lot.
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS) has begun on the high areas, as can be seen in an updated northwest exterior PixAround. Concrete pours in the interior can be seen in updated PixArounds from the lower lobby and the upper lobby. Auditorium progress can be seen in the updated stage PixAround.

Phase Two - Science: Cabinetry installation continues. Broadband visitors can enjoy updated PixArounds of the Environmental Science lab, the Advanced Biology lab, the second floor corridor, and the first floor corridor.
- 4/20/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The balcony decking is being installed, and forms built for the lower level risers in the auditorium. Broadband visitors can see updated PixArounds from the upper lobby and from the stage.
Phase Two - Science: The EIFS is finished on the east side, and can be seen in the updated east exterior slideshow and the alleyway PixAround.
- 4/18/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The casework and fume hoods have been delivered. There is a snapshot of the physics lab casework being installed. Broadband visitors can view an updated Physics Lab PixAround. The exterior EIFS work continues, and the northwest exterior slideshow has been updated, as has the PixAround from 16th & Hillcrest.
- 4/13/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The lobby area is now taking shape. Broadband visitors can enjoy new PixAround viewpoints from the lower lobby as well as the upper lobby. The choir room and the stage PixArounds have also been updated, as has the 18th & Hillcrest PixAround and the exterior slideshow.
Phase Two - Science: The EIFS continues, as can been seen in the updated east exterior slideshow and northwest exterior slideshow. Broadband visitors can see updated PixArounds from the alleyway and from 16th & Hillcrest.
- 4/10/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The floor tile is being installed. You can see it in the updated science interior slideshow. Broadband visitors can view how the tile looks in the updated Chem II lab PixAround. The exterior yard is being graded and landscaped, and a sidewalk is being poured. That work and the exterior work on the building are visible in the updated rooftop PixAround.
- 3/29/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The EIFS (exterior insulation and finish system) is being installed on the east side, and the window frames for the stairwell curtain wall are going in. The east exterior slideshow has been updated. Broadband visitors can enjoy an updated PixAround from the alleyway.
Phase Two - Fine Arts: A new slideshow has been prepared of the front exterior of the fine arts center. Broadband visitors can see the auditorium walls going up in an updated stage area PixAround, and the high auditorium wall studs and gypsum board going up in an updated PixAround from 18th and Hillcrest.
- 3/22/2003:
Phase Two - Science: On the interior, the first coats of paint are complete, and the ceiling grid and light fixtures are being installed on the second floor. The connection to the second floor of the main building has begun, as seen in a new snapshot. Broadband visitors can see the interior progress in the PixAround of the chemistry/physics lab and updated PixArounds for the first floor corridor and the second floor corridor. The interior slideshow has been updated.
The science exterior is being prepared for the white EIFS, as can be view in an updated east exterior slideshow and a fresh PixAround from the alleyway.
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The band and choir room walls and roof are up, and broadband visitors can view the progress with the choir room and the band room PixArounds. The new west exterior windows are visible in updated PixArounds from the northwest exterior and the interior of the visual arts room.

Newer aerial photos have been posted. Now you can view a color photo from March, 2002 as well as the grayscale one from April, 1995. There is also a version of each photo showing the outlines of the various improvements being made. Thanks go to Lara Jewell, the City of Bartlesville's Mapping and Drafting Coordinator, for the 2002 photo.
- 3/14/2003:
Broadband visitors can enjoy an updated pressbox PixAround, customized to view the Phase Two construction.
Science: The interior walls now have their initial coats of paint. Broadband visitors can see the blue walls in an updated AP Biology Lab PixAround. Scaffolding around the exterior is being erected as the application of the exterior finish approaches, as can be seen in a new science snapshot from the pressbox. Also, a new northwest exterior slideshow is available.
Fine Arts: The progress on the east side and the auditorium structure can be seen in a new fine arts snapshot from the pressbox.
- 3/8/2003:
Phase Two: A big snow slowed construction to a crawl for awhile, but things are picking up again with better weather.
Science: On the exterior, most of the windows are installed. You can see them in the updated exterior slideshow, and broadband visitors can view updated PixAround views from the alleyway and from 16th and Hillcrest. On the interior, painting has begun. Broadband visitors can see how the interior of the physics lab has been dressed up with a primer coat, .
Fine Arts: The west exterior windows are going in, and can be seen in the updated PixAround view from 18th and Hillcrest. The balcony steel is up, and can be seen in the updated PixArounds from midway along 18th and from the stage.

Phase Two - Fine Arts: Broadband visitors can enjoy new PixAround Viewpoints of the auditorium stage area and drama room. There are also updated PixArounds of the visual arts room, the orchestra room, and the fine arts computer lab.

Phase Two: Additional details and photos regarding the interior design are available, including details on the glass blocks used in the new construction.
Phase Two - Science: The masonry and electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in approach completion. There is a snapshot of the connection between the first floors of the 1939 building and the new wing, which is under construction. Broadband visitors can see updated PixArounds of the first floor corridor and physics lab on that floor. The PixArounds of the second floor corridor, the Chemistry I lab, and the Chemistry/Physics lab have also been updated.
- 2/12/2003:
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The largest piece of steel in Phase Two was installed today. There are photos and fun facts for that 76,000 pound beam. Broadband visitors can see it in the updated PixAround midway along 18th Street.

Phase Two - Fine Arts: A new snapshot shows a worker atop the deck of the new auditorium structure.
Phase Two - Science: Broadband visitors can view an updated PixAround from atop the main building.

Phase Two - Science: The former north entrance into the main building is being demolished to form a connection to the new wing. (The second floor connection will not be made until Spring Break.) Metal studs are being installed above the second floor interior masonry to form the walls up to the roof. The interior slideshow has been updated.
- 1/30/2003:
Phase Two - Science: The last of the masonry is almost done, while the first floor rough-in work also nears completion. The interior slideshow has been updated.

Phase Two - Fine Arts: Another new snapshot shows the auditorium structural steel being erected, plus the construction of the masonry wall for the new central plant. Broadband visitors can enjoy new PixAround views of the visual arts room, the choir room, and the fine arts computer lab.

Phase Two - Fine Arts: The high structural steel for the auditorium stage area is going up, as seen in a new snapshot. Broadband visitors can see updated PixArounds from 18th and Crestview, midway along 18th, 18th and Hillcrest, and from the wing's northwest corner.

Phase Two - Science: There is a snapshot of yours truly in his future office, and the interior slideshow has been updated. Broadband visitors can enjoy new PixAround locations in four of the labs: Environmental Science, Chemistry/Physics, Chemistry I/II AP, and Chemistry I. The first floor masonry is complete, and can also be seen in updated PixArounds for the first floor corridor, the AP Biology/Anatomy lab, and the Physics lab. There is also an updated PixAround of the second floor corridor area.
Phase Two - Fine Arts: The steel structure of the auditorium is going up. There is a snapshot of the steel. No the steel isn't bent - the image was taken with a virtual fisheye lens.

Phase Two - Fine Arts: There are new snapshots of the fine arts auditorium perimeter and the visual arts and computer rooms. Broadband visitors can enjoy an updated PixAround from 18th and Hillcrest and new PixArounds of the band room and the orchestra room.
