Phase Four - Summer Work:  During the summer 2007 break, Gorman Construction will be finishing the remodeling of the original auditorium into a library/media center, the construction of the link between the stadium, annex, field houses, and Fine Arts Center, and the expansion of the student restrooms on the first floor of the main building. Hopefully the link and restrooms will be operational when school starts in August. The library might not be finished until late summer/fall.

The stadium and the classrooms in the main building and annex will be empty this summer so that Shiloh Enterprises can rip out the ceilings and the forty-to-sixty year old two-pipe pneumatic/electromechanical climate control systems. New ductwork linking to a four-pipe direct digital control system will be installed, tied into the new central plant near the Fine Arts Center. That should greatly improve temperature control throughout the year and reduce energy usage. The central portion of the main building (offices on first floor, old library & business lab & MR classroom on second floor) will not be retrofitted until later. Hopefully the many classrooms will be operational when school resumes in August, or we will have a rough start!
