This pre-construction photo was taken on January 24, 2002. The groundbreaking ceremony was four days later. You are looking from atop the old auditorium out over the front lawn toward Hillcrest Drive. During the summer of 2002 the on-street parking will be replaced by two protected parking lots separated by a large circular drive.
