This photo was taken on February 13, 2002, about two weeks after the groundbreaking ceremony for phase one. You are standing on top of the stadium press box, looking east across Shawnee Avenue at the floodplain area and then turning to the south to look out over the existing practice field. Notice how much of the floodplain has been cleared. If you zoom in on the lift station and construction trailer, you'll spot tree-clearing machinery parked back in the floodplain.
