The Board of Education approved a $62,700 bid from Green Country Interiors to install ceiling clouds in the new Field House to improve its acoustics by reducing reverberation. This should reduce the garbling of voices over the loudspeaker system. Installation may occur in February.

Phase Three - Field House Dedication: There is a photo from the Field House dedication on Sunday, December 3, 2006.
The third phase of the project was a new Field House just east of the new Fine Arts Center, and the two structures share a two-story lobby.

Phase Three Description:
Original Budgeting: $5.5 million for Field House (approx. 21% of the project funding); Preliminary design in mid-2001; Main design January to Fall, 2004; Bids in Fall 2004; Field House contract awarded on September 20, 2004 to Rick Scott Construction, Inc. of Ponca City & Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The new Field House shares the Fine Arts Center lobby. Access to the fixed seating for over 2200 patrons is on the upper level, where there are two concession stands. The court itself is on the lower level, surrounded by areas for the athletic trainers and various locker rooms and offices. Also, parking was added to the east and north of the new Field House.
