This is a photo of the original choir room at BHS; it was located at the curving northwest corner of the main building, on the first floor. The room was constructed in 1939 and had several shortcomings that finally led to a new choir room being opened in 2004. The old room had poor acoustics due to its ceiling which sloped up toward the back of the room. It was too small for the large choir, had only one packed closet for storage, and insufficient space for the instructor's computer and materials.
This room might now become a meeting room, or be designated for another purpose.
