Forty-Six Weeks Into Construction

This photo was taken after 46 weeks of construction on April 13, 2003. You are standing in the upper level of the lobby of the Fine Arts Center.
This area has become accessible with the installation of two stairways from the lower level. To the west is the open area looking down into the lower lobby, and for now you can see into the auditorium. To the north is the column of the elevator shaft. To the east you can see the scaffolding for the installation of the masonry for the restrooms.
