Forty-Seven Weeks Into Construction

This photo was taken after 47 weeks of construction on April 20, 2003. You are standing in the upper level of the lobby of the Fine Arts Center.
Some of the masonry around the north stairway has been built. Turning west you can no longer see through the balcony structure, because decking has been installed. Below the balcony are wooden forms for the concrete risers on the south and north ends of the auditorium. Turning to the east you can see that the masonry for the upper level restrooms and trophy cases is finished.
