Forty-One Weeks Into Construction

This photo was taken after 41 weeks of construction on March 8, 2003. You are standing in the area that will be the stage in the new auditorium.
The steel structure for the balcony is now visible above the big beam. Under the left side of the big beam, you can see a masonry tower with door openings on two levels, which is the elevator shaft. As you circle, you'll notice that the view to the west is blocked by a piece of construction equipment.
