Fifty-Two Weeks Into Construction

This photo was taken during the 52nd week of construction on May 21, 2003. You are standing in the area that will be the stage in the new auditorium.
The balcony concrete has been poured and workers are visible smoothing it in its forms. The high areas have been closed in, with a great deal of the exterior finish installed although the interior still has bare studs. The rest of the orchestra pit has been excavated.
