As part of the ongoing improvements at BHS, the 48-year-old skybridge linking the annex and stadium was demolished on November 22, 2006. Gorman Construction of Bartlesville hired Ark Wrecking Company to conduct the demolition. Mr. Miller, who oversees BHS Site Safety, aimed one of the security cameras at the bridge and created a movie clip of its destruction, which was edited into the above form by Granger Meador, BHS Volunteer Webmaster.

Eventually a new two-story structure with elevator at the location will provide handicapped access to the two older buildings and serve as a gateway to an enclosed connecting link leading to the new Fine Arts Center both the new and old field houses.
