Principal’s Message

Central Middle School is proud to educate approximately 700 of Oklahoma’s finest middle school students.   The faculty and staff of Central are committed to helping all students achieve their fullest potential as young adolescents.  At Central, we make it a priority to provide a safe and respectful environment.

Middle school sets the stage for a student’s future as an adult.  It is a critical link to the student’s successful transition to high school and higher education.  Central teachers provide a rigorous and challenging curriculum.  Students experience a core of standards based curricula in language arts, math, social studies, and science.  

Central students meet high expectations in the basic skills of reading/language arts, math, science, social studies, and to read, write, and speak clearly.  Central provides programs to meet the needs of individual students whether that be extra support to be successful or a challenge to reach to the next level.  PreAP language arts classes, high school level algebra, geometry, and foreign language classes are offered.  Students may also choose an elective curriculum that includes computer technology, art, choir, orchestra, band, physical education, and family and consumer science.

Central is truly a special place to learn, I am proud to be a part of such a great school.
