TRIBES

TRIBES is a community building process designed to improve school climate, provide a positive environment for learning, increase student skills in conflict resolution and improve students' skills in cooperative activities.

TRIBES builds a learning community based on 4 agreements:

• Attentive listening
• Appreciation/no put-downs
• The right to pass
• Mutual respect

TRIBES training is offered to staff members at all 7 elementary sites. Madison Middle School is also a TRIBES community.
