QUALIFICATIONS: |
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
experience. Knowledge of First Aide,
CPR, Heimlich maneuver and exposure to blood borne pathogens. Good people skills are critical to
satisfactory job performance as employee behavior models and influences
student behavior. Employee must be able to walk for 7 hours. Job requires occasional
bending/stooping/squatting/crouching/kneeling, climbing, reaching above the
shoulder and pushing/pulling. Job
requires occasional carrying/lifting up to 100 pounds. Job requires employee to use both hands for
repetitive actions involving simple/firm grasping and fine manipulation. Employee must possess hearing and speaking
abilities to monitor equipment and communicate with employees, students, and
parents. Supervises School Age Care Assistants and
students. The Board of Education and Superintendent
may approve alternatives to the listed qualifications. ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.
Checks in children daily. 2.
Administers First Aide as necessary. 3.
Supervises students. 4.
Maintains order and safety. 5.
Assist in planning daily lessons. 6.
Maintain DHS standard training hrs. 7.
Supervises students during lunch. 8.
Assists in maintenance of cafeteria area. 9.
Performs First Aide as necessary. 10.
Maintains student discipline. 11.
Performs other duties as assigned. |
