Science Fair Information

The GATE 5^th grade students will be required to do a GATE science fair project which will be due February 22^nd and 23^rd. We will have a public viewing of the GATE science fair the evening of Feb. 23^rd. Participation in the District Science Fair is encouraged but not mandatory.

DISTRICT SCIENCE FAIR March 5, 2010 (Friday)

The students have to option of entering the District Science Fair. The District Entry Form is due by February 19, 2010. Participation in the District Science Fair is optional.

Invention Fair Information

The GATE 4^th grade students will be required to do a GATE invention fair project which will be due March 10^th. We will have a public viewing of the inventions the evening of March 11^th.

All GATE classes will be held at Wayside Elementary during the afternoon. Students from other schools will be bused to

Wayside and return to their home school by 3:30.

While at GATE, students will rotate through classes with Gifted Education Teachers Todd Rhoades, Linda Key and Teresa Underhill.

Gifted Education teachers will travel to the schools for Classroom Collaboration.
