Parents,

The GATE Invention Fair will be held at Wayside School on March 11^th from 3:30-7:00 p.m. All Fourth Grade GATE students are required to participate in the fair. Students may work alone or two in a group. Student projects will need to be picked up between 6:00-7:00 p.m. that evening.

During GATE classes, students will continue to explore inventions and inventors, work on a timeline of historical inventions, and activities that will aide students in the processes of creating a great invention. Although we will be studying many aspects of inventions during GATE classes, the student invention and report will be a home project that students will bring to GATE completed ready to present to their peers on March 10^th. Students will need to plan, produce their own invention, and write a report describing their invention. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Rhoades.
