District-Wide


In all, approximately 6,000 students are enrolled within the Bartlesville Public School District and the district has about 650 staff members plus outsourced services. Bartlesville Public Schools has a long-standing reputation of academic excellence, reflected in ratings on various state report cards. Specialists in the areas of counseling, library, learning disabilities, physical education, and vocal and instrumental music serve on staff at all nine schools within the district. The district's special education program employs specialists to aid exceptional students with physical and mental handicaps. A team of gifted/talented consultants work directly with students and teachers to meet the needs of our gifted student population.

Bartlesville


Bartlesville, Oklahoma is a city of approximately 36,000 in northeast Oklahoma, about an hour's drive north of Tulsa. Bartlesville was the hometown of Phillips Petroleum and remains a major center of global shared services for both Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips. ABB TotalFlow, Schlumberger, ChevronPhillips Chemical, and Wal-Mart also have major operations in the city.

Elementary Schools


The Bartlesville Public School District has six elementary schools which serve students from pre-kindergarten until the fifth grade, with an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students. The elementary schools operate with a nurturing homeroom environment to provide individual support and attention for the students. Music, art and physical education classes are provided in addition to regular classroom subjects, with STEM modules in each kindergarten through fifth grade class.

Secondary Schools


The secondary school program consists of Central and Madison middle schools and Bartlesville High School. Central and Madison are for students from grades six through eight while the high school serves grades nine through twelve. The combined enrollment for the four schools is approximately 3,000 students. In addition to the core curriculum, the secondary program offers a variety of courses such as foreign languages, art, music, speech, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), and many advanced placement classes.
