The Oklahoma Art Education Association and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art hosted Portfolio Day, a gathering of colleges and universities from across the United States who wished to showcase their visual arts program and meet high school students to review their portfolios on a one-on-one basis. Twenty different art schools and universities participated this year.

Sixteen BHS AP Art Students participated in Portfolio Day this year on Friday, January 13, 2017. Students were offered scholarships and praise from the various art schools and universities. Oklahoma Christian University asked Bartlesville High School to hang its students' artwork in their gallery next year for a one school show. That is a great honor for our program; OCU’s art gallery is usually filled with the work of professional artists.

We're proud of BHS Visual Arts teacher Rhonda Williams and her coterie of young artists!
