A community-wide pep rally to celebrate goals accomplished and dreams ahead will be held Thursday, November 12 at Bartlesville High School promoting Bruin pride as the Varsity football team prepares to host a first round playoff game in postseason competition. The pep rally, to be hosted by Bartlesville Quarterback Club, will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the old Phillips Field House at Bartlesville High, 1700 Hillcrest Drive. Bruin fans of all ages in the community are invited to join the football team, Bruin Brigade, cheer and pom squads in this special evening of celebrating a spectacular season of play and looking forward to what lies ahead.

Bartlesville Bruins will host an Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association football playoff game at Custer Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 13 versus an opponent that will be determined by what happens in this week’s final round of district play. Hosting the playoff game here is the realization of a goal set at the beginning of this year’s football season by Bruin coaches and players who knew the team would have to pull together and work hard to have the winning record needed to get a home field advantage for round one.

Come out and join the Bruins in this fun evening of celebration. Bruin spirit wear will be available for purchase. The pep rally is free and open to the public.
