Bruins looking for coaches

Bartlesville High School Athletics is now seeking head varsity baseball and boys soccer coaches in addition to some district openings for wrestling coaches and an assistant volleyball coach.

Varsity Baseball
After guiding the Bruins varsity baseball team to a 19-18 record this season, Head Coach Austin Jarvis has resigned to seek a new opportunity at Victory Christian as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Baseball coach. Spence Rigdon, the Director of Athletics and Activities for Bartlesville Public Schools, stated, “We hate losing Coach Jarvis but understand he has great opportunities ahead for him and his family.”
Boys Soccer
Vladan Glavonic “Coach Pika” has stepped down as the Head Boys Soccer coach after two seasons. Coach Pika is the OKWU Head Women’s Coach and will focus his time on his current job. Rigdon commented, “We want to thank Coach Pika for pulling double duties the last two years and leading our boys program.”
