On Saturday, May 6, 2017 about fifty volunteers from City Church, led by Youth Pastor Sam McCullough (pictured at right), spent the day at Richard Kane Elementary School. They worked on landscaping projects on the grounds, painted playground equipment, scraped mulch back into the playground area, and painted the stage.

Principal Shelly White remarked, "We are thrilled and grateful for their kindness and generosity. It was very kind of City Church members to volunteer their time, effort, and resources."

In this time of continued unscheduled cuts in state funding for public education, the district is truly grateful for the local support provided by our community.
