The musical, based on the classic 1954 MGM film, takes place in the Oregon wilderness in 1850. Spencer Hayes plays Adam, a frontiersman who journeys into town to find a wife. Milly attempts to civilize and marry off her brothers-in-law to ensure the success of her own marriage. The brothers soon fall for six women from a neighboring town: Alice (Josie Zepeda), Dorcas (Mikah Hansen), Ruth (Emily Leupp), Sarah (Melody Brown Clark), Liza (Paige Cleveland), and Martha (Anneke Borg). However, the brothers must compete with the town’s suitors, played by Lane Cabler, Chris Harris, Daylin Gray, John Martinez, Luke Feeler, and Riggs Gorman. Calamity ensues when the brothers resort to kidnapping the women to be their brides.

Other memorable characters in the cast include Mrs. Hoallum (Rachel Souter), Mr. Hoallum (Kody Williams), Mrs. Sanders (Nicole Workman), Mr. Sanders (Sebastian Brim), and the Preacher (Micheael Boughman).
