Summer Camps

for Enrichment and School Transitions
  • Bruin Camp for Incoming Freshmen
    • Afternoon of fun, prizes, and Jared's Frozen Custard
    • August 2, 12:45-3:30 p.m.
    • Bus pick ups at Central and Madison middle schools, Ranch Heights, Jane Phillips, Wilson, Wayside, former Oak Park school, and Boys & Girls Club
  • High School Fundamentals
    • Gives incoming freshmen a foundation in skills for successful organization, communication, and general tools to succeed in high school
    • July 15-19
    • $10 registration fee (scholarships available)
    • Free breakfast & lunch
    • Free transportation from centralized locations

Summer Schools

Summer school sessions for remediation and credit recovery will be offered for both elementary and secondary students.

Elementary and middle school summer school sessions are recommended by teachers as needed. High School summer school has open registration for Bartlesville and regional students.

The free summer food program, with free breakfast and lunch for anyone ages 1-18,  complements the summer schools.

Semester one is from May 30-June 20 and semester two is from July 1-24, with classes Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to noon in:

  • English 9, 10, 11, or 12
  • U.S. History
  • Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry
  • Physical Science, Biology I
  • Oklahoma History, World History, Government, Financial Literacy Economics
  • Spanish I, II
  • Math of Finance, Business Computer Applications
  • Environmental Science
Register early - first come, first served. Registration closes for semester 1 on May 29 and for semester 2 on June 28.

Middle School June Session

There is one session, required for students who did not pass a core subject because of grades or attendance. The session runs on Monday through Fridays from May 30 to June 20 from 8 a.m. to noon.

This program is conducted at the Freshman Academy at Bartlesville High School.

Elementary School June Summer Boost

The June Session is 4 weeks, Monday through Thursday; June 3-6, 10-13, 17-20, and 24-27. The student hours are 9 a.m. to noon. Kindergarten through 2nd grade summer school will be at Ranch Heights Elementary School. 3rd through 5th grade summer school will be at Richard Kane Elementary School.

Elementary School July Summer Boost

The July session is 3 weeks, Monday through Thursday; July 8-11, 15-18, and 22-25. The student hours are 9 a.m. to noon. This session for Kindergarten through 5th grade will be at Jane Phillips Elementary School.
