District Summer School & Camps

The district offers both summer school and summer camps. Links to the summer camps are included at the end of this post.

Summer Schools

Summer school sessions for remediation and credit recovery will be offered for both elementary and secondary students.

Elementary and middle school summer school sessions are recommended by teachers as needed. High School summer school has open registration for Bartlesville and regional students.

Semester one is from June 1-22 and semester two is from July 6-27, with classes Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to noon in:

CREDIT RECOVERY
  • English 9, 10, 11, or 12
  • U.S. History
  • Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry
  • Physical Science, Biology I
INITIAL CREDIT & CREDIT RECOVERY
  • Oklahoma History, World History, Government, Financial Literacy Economics
  • Spanish I, II
  • Math of Finance, Business Computer Applications
  • Environmental Science
Register early - first come, first served. Registration closes for semester 1 on June 2 and for semester 2 on July 7.


Middle School June Session

There is one session, required for students who did not pass a core subject because of grades or attendance. The session runs from June 1 to June 22, 16 class days, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Enrollment: At the high school Freshman Academy at 18th and Hillcrest on Tuesday, May 31 any time between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.


Elementary School June Session

The June Session is 4 weeks, Monday through Friday; June 6-9; 13-16- 20-23 and 25-28. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. Kindergarten through 2nd grade summer school will be at Hoover Elementary School, with Rene Burns as the director. 3rd through 5th grade summer school will be at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, with Kelli Bryant as the director.

Elementary School July Session

The July session is 3 weeks. Week one is Tuesday –Friday ; July 5-8; Weeks two and three are Monday through Friday; July 11-12 and July 18-21; the hours are 8:30-12:30. This session for Kindergarten through 5th grade will be at Jane Phillips Elementary School with Kelli Bryant as the director.
