Bartlesville Bruins will host an Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association football playoff game on Lyon Field at Custer Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 13 versus Midwest City in the first round of thClass 6-A Division II playoff bracket
This is only the third time in 31 years — and the first time since 1988 — that Bartlesville has been home for a football playoff game.

The Bruins finished the regular season at 9-1, and finished second in District 6A-II-1.

Hosting the playoff game here is the realization of a goal set at the beginning of this year’s football season by Bruin coaches and players who knew the team would have to pull together and work hard to have the winning record needed to get a home field advantage for round one.

Community Pep Rally on Thursday

Everyone is invited to a Community Pep Rally the night before, at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, 11/12/2015 in the old Phillips Field House at Bartlesville High School, 1700 SE Hillcrest Drive.
Season Tickets & Staff Passes Do Not Apply to OSSAA Playoffs

The OSSAA is charging an across-the-board open admission fee of $7 per person.  Season tickets and staff ID passes into the game do not apply to the playoffs. Bartlesville won’t keep any of the admission funds, but will get to retain the concession stand profits.

Veterans & One Guest Admitted Free

If you know a veteran, please help let them know they can attend the football game Friday night for free! The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association is allowing free admission to veterans to the first round of the football playoffs

A veteran and one guest will be admitted free of charge simply by showing the veteran's driver's license, which has a seal indicating the person is a veteran. If the individual has not renewed their license in the last couple of years, a veterans ID card or any proof of identification is acceptable.
