Cassie Harding, a sophomore at Bartlesville High School,  was crowned Miss Tulsa State Fair Outstanding Teen on October 9, 2016.  In early June 2017, Cassie will compete at the Miss Oklahoma Outstanding Teen pageant.  She will be focusing on her platform “Fill their Plate” to educate others about childhood hunger. Cassie is the daughter of David and Melinda Harding.

The Tulsa event is part of the Miss America competition series. Each local, state and national event includes competition in talent, evening wear, interview, and physical fitness in a swimsuit. Every Miss America state/local titleholder selects a platform issue of importance to her and to society and spends her year of service advocating her issue before the media, business people, public officials, civic and charitable groups, and others.
