The One Warm Coat drive sponsored by East Bartlesville Christian Church is underway and benefits students in the Bartlesville Public Schools.

This is an opportunity to donate new or gently used coats. Coats are needed in sizes Youth Small to Adult X-Large that are machine washable. Youth Small and Youth Medium are in particular demand. No hoodies or jackets, please. Donated coats are cleaned by Archer's Cleaners and distributed to students in need.

A drop-box for coats is available at the district's Education Service Center at 1100 S. Jennings. Other collection sites around town include:
  • Bartlesville Community Center
  • The UPS Store
  • Berkshire Hathaway Realtors
  • East Bartlesville Christian Church
Sarah Rowe, the district's Homeless Education Coordinator, said, "We had requests for almost 200 coats district-wide last year and I foresee a high number for this year."

Bartlesville has a history of caring for its youth. Your donations are welcome and appreciated!
