Red Apple Bowling Center has partnered with the Bowler's Ed, part of International Bowling Campus Youth Development and the Oklahoma Bowling Association, to bring Bowler's Ed to Bartlesville elementary schools.

Chuck Ford, Red Apple Bowling Center Manager, began organizing this program two years ago to offer another way for Bartlesville’s students to stay healthy by staying active. Red Apple also has a bowling program kids can join after school, which can help kids receive college scholarships.

For the Bowler’s Ed program, Red Apple provides carpeted bowling lanes, 10 pins, and a rubber bowling ball to all Bartlesville elementary schools to teach a bowling unit during the 2nd through 5th grade P.E. classes. When the unit is completed, Red Apple pays for the students to go bowling. Red Apple allows the students to bowl for two hours for free while hosting a dance contest, a pin contest, and more. The students receive prizes or game cards to Red Apple’s arcade to use when they come back. Students also receive a free game of bowling to use with their families.
