Supt. McCauley on Surveys and Feedback Meetings

In this July 6 video, Superintendent McCauley shares information on surveys for parents and staff this week and how the district's draft re-opening plan will be shared with staff and the public, with opportunities for feedback.

  • A Parent/Student Survey was online until July 10 about facial covering scenarios and their impact on in-person versus at-home enrollment options, with a link sent out in a SchoolMessenger email/text broadcast and posted on the website.
  • Draft Re-Opening Plan shared with the public during the afternoon of Monday, July 13 via the district website, on social media, and in a SchoolMessenger email/text broadcast.
  • Community Meetings at Custer Stadium, with social distancing, for interested community members to ask questions about and provide feedback on the draft re-opening plan:
    • Wednesday, July 15, 8:30 a.m.
    • Wednesday, July 15, 8:30 p.m.
  • Staff Survey released on Tuesday, July 7 about facial covering scenarios and their impact on staff members via an email to certified and classified groups
  • That survey will include a link to a staff-only preview of the initial draft of the re-opening plan
  • Optional staff-only Webinars on Thursday, July 9 using links that will be shared in the staff survey and via email
    • Certified staff webinar on Thursday, July 9, 10:00 a.m.
    • Classified staff webinar on Thursday, July 9, 1:00 p.m.
  • Feedback from the staff webinars and both the staff and the parent/student surveys will be used to revise the initial draft plan into what is shared publicly on July 13
  • The school board will discuss the re-opening plan at its virtual meeting on Monday, July 20 at 5:30 p.m.
