Chromebook Carts Deployed

All 13 Chromebook Carts for the pilot stage of the district's 1:1 computing initiative have now been deployed. Almost all sophomores, juniors, and seniors will gain experience using the Chromebooks for class assignments and activities since every dedicated English and Language Arts classroom in grades 10-12 received a cart.*

The following 10th-12th grade English and Language Arts teachers received carts of 35 Chromebooks for their students to use in class during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 school years:

Additional carts with 20 Chromebooks were distributed to the following teachers in Special Education and Bruin Academy:

*Severe and Profound (Intellectually Disabled and Multihandicapped) special education classes, which already have dedicated iPads, did not receive Chromebook carts in this initial deployment.

Gary Layman, Micheal Stevens, Betty Henderson, Wendy Meador, and Susan Staats wire up Chromebook carts after school; Kim Lashbrook, Jeremy Hanks, and Granger Meador also assisted
