Google Cloud Print

Google Cloud Print

Google Cloud Print will end in December 2020, replaced by whatever services are provided by printer manufacturers, such as HP & Epson. However, Canon & Brother had no Chrome printing solution as of October 2020.

Google Cloud Print allows you to print from the Google Chrome web browser (while it is running on any device, including Chromebooks), to existing printers that are connected to a Windows or Mac computer at school or at home.

You only need to register a printer ONCE with your Google account to then print from it in Chrome from any device. You do NOT need to register the same printer more than once.

We have NOT found Google Cloud Print to work reliably with our WiFi-only printers in the secondary school libraries and a few English classrooms; for those, use HP Print for Chrome.
