I was born in Bartlesville. I graduated from Dewey High School, and then went on to receive my bachelor’s degree in education at OWU (formerly BWC). I taught third and fourth grade at Dewey Elementary. I married Victor Jones in 1979. He owns his own building business here in Bartlesville, Victor Homes. I stopped teaching to raise my family. We have two children. Kaitlin is 25 and graduated from OSU in May of 2005. She took a job in Austin, Texas with an interior design firm in August 2006. She became engaged to be married in April, 2007. Her wedding will be on December 29^th this year. Our son, Logan, age 22, was a U.S. Marine stationed in North Carolina. He just came home after four years and plans to go to college in Colorado for the spring semester.
I came back to teaching after raising my children. This will be my seventh year at Hoover. I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
