2:45 – 325 – DEAR Time/ Study Time/ Finish Previous Lessons

Class Information

· My class this year will be filled with lots of fun and learning.

When the students walk into my room, they are here to learn.

I expect my class to act like a caring community. A positive environment

is key to learning. I also enjoy doing cooperative/partner work in my class. I

believe parents and teachers have to work together to give students the best

education possible.Every Friday we will have Free Friday to reward the students

for their good behavior through out the week. The students also can enjoy a class

party on Fridays when they have cooperated well as a class. Late homework notices

are given out to the students when they have not completed an assignment

and will be receiving a zero for the grade. The notice will need to be signed

by the parent and brought back the next day. If it is not brought back, you

will receive a call from me.

Current Projects/Announcements

The major weekly project we are working on right now is our All About Me board.

Every couple of days a different student gets to bring pictures and objects that tell about themselves. In that week we learn about this person and even write a paragraph about him or her. In Science we are working on magnetism and electricity. We will be investigating different properties of magnets and circuits. Currently in math we are working on geometry. In social studies we are learning the states and capitals. We are also learning about each regions environment, culture, and products.
