The preschool curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the whole child. The classroom is organized into learning centers. Classroom instruction includes leveled literacy experiences and math based on the Everyday Mathematics program. After assessing your child, the teacher will work with the family to establish academic and social goals for the year. Our goal, in partnership with families is to help children develop the desire to work hard, to see task through to completion, to take responsibility for their work and to build a sense of classroom community

Current Projects/Announcements

We have a Book Party almost every month sponsored by the Literacy Council. The children get a free book and it’s a wonderful opportunity to spend some time with your child.

Biography

I am from Shreveport, LA and have been in Bartlesville for 16 years. I have taught school for 29 years in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma. I received my BA from LSU-Shreveport and my masters from Georgia State University. I became a National Board certified teacher in 2006. I am married to Beebe Stephenson and have one son, Jake, in the 9^th grade and two step-sons with families in Colorado.
