| This drawing of products was done by1st and 2nd grade students. I had many products for the students to look at. We talked about how graphic artists design product labels. We also looked at work by some of the Pop Artists and talked about how they did take-offs of products.
Students drew bottle and box shapes and copied some of the products I had in the room as well as made up some of their own products. Some of the products are strange or unusual things. Students had fun playing with the names of products and making silly things or trying to make a weird thing look like something good to buy.
Students traced some of the shapes of real boxes and bottles templates, and then colored the pictures and made a line behind the items for the table that we had them sitting on. |
