Students cut out bottle and box shapes and copied some of the products I had in the room as well as made up some of their own products. Some of the products are strange or unusual things. Students had fun playing with the names of products and making silly things or trying to make a weird thing look like something good to buy.

In this collage work students make each box and bottle look 3-dimensional. Each box and bottle is made from paper and then arranged on the paper made to look like a table top.

Students learn how to show emphasis with color. They learn about depth and illusion of space by making some items appear to sit back farther on the table by placement and overlapping.
