Brad Farrow

Back on Track has been designed as an alternative to out-of-school suspension. If a student commits an offense that in the past would have resulted in five days suspension, then that student spends 10 days in the Back on Track program. The benefit to school, community, parents, and student is that the student will remain in school receiving instruction from a certified teacher, rather than at home trying to keep pace by themselves. This program will not completely do away with the need for suspension; however, it will dramatically reduce the number of students off campus while maintaining a learning environment for others.

PASS is Parents' Alternative to School Suspension. It provides an opportunity for students who commit offenses resulting in disciplinary action to stay on campus and in school. It removes them from the regular classroom and population where the offense occurs but still provides them a learning environment. Teachers send assignments to PASS to keep the students current with what is occurring in the classroom.
