| Plan Test |
The PLAN will be given to all
sophomores at the Mid-High
School. ACT/PLAN’s website (http://www.act.org/plan/)
says, “As a "pre-ACT" test, PLAN is a powerful predictor
of success on the ACT. At the same time, many schools recognize
the importance of PLAN testing for all students, as it focuses
attention on both career preparation and improving academic
achievement.” Tri-County Technology Center uses the PLAN scores
in evaluating applicants for their programs, also. |
| PSAT/NMSQT Test |
The PSAT/NMSQT is given each year. Sophomores can take the test (cost is $13)
as a practice PSAT/NMSQT and practice college admissions test.

Juniors take the test as the National Merit Scholarship
Qualifying Test as well as to practice for the SAT. |
| PASS for Parents |
The State Department of
Education's Curriculum Department has unveiled its newest
project: PASS for Parents. PASS for Parents is a parent (and
sometimes teacher/student) friendly version of the PASS
Objectives. PASS for Parents is only available to view online or
download. You can find it at
http://sde.state.ok.us/Curriculum/PASS/Parents.html. Grades Pre-K through 8 have a single PASS for Parents
with all the core subjects inside. High School subjects are by
content area. |

Driver's Education applications are available in the fall at BMHS
main office (first-come/first-served). Applicants must be Bartlesville
resident/student and 15yrs of age by January of the new year. Tuition :$230
payable to ISD-30. Instruction begins in January. |
