Colleen Bennett

Mrs. Bennett has taught honors chemistry and physical science at the Mid High since 1992. She received undergraduate degrees in chemistry and biology from Abilene Christian University and has her masters degree in environmental science from Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Bennett has received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching, been named several times to Who's Who Among America's Teachers, served on the state board of directors for the Oklahoma Science Teachers' Association, and is a National Board Certified Chemistry Teacher.   Mrs. Bennett's husband, Marshall, works at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Their children are grown; two daughters are married (one lives in Chicago and the other in Oklahoma City) and their son is a medical student at OU. All three of their children graduated from Bartlesville High School. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett also have four wonderful grandchildren (just ask her!).

Terri Bryan

Mrs. Bryan graduated from SWOSU in 1991 with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education.  Upon graduation, in 1991, she moved to Bartlesville and has been teaching at the Mid-High every since.  Her area of interest is Physical Science.  Mrs. Bryan is married to Kevin and they are the proud parents of a son, Kamden.  Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, shopping, scrap-booking, and interior decorating.  Click  scholastic.com for class homepage and assignments. Erica Derryberry

Mrs. Derryberry graduated from Bartlesville; she then attended Southwest Missouri State University. Mrs. Derryberry began teaching at the Mid-High in 2000. She and her husband, Dee, have two children Caleb and Kenzie. Click here for course information.

 

Susan Farrow

Mrs. Farrow is in her eighth year of teaching at the Mid High.  She teaches biology.  Mrs. Farrow graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  She is married to Coach Farrow who also teaches at the Mid High.  They have one son, Bo, who is a 8th grader at Central Middle School and a daughter, Anna, who is a 4th grader at Ranch Heights.  In her spare time, Mrs. Farrow likes to read and do logic puzzles.

Cheryl Fentress

Cheryl Fentress attended the University of Tulsa where she received a B.S. in Secondary Education (1982) and a M.S. in Biology (1991).  She taught high school math and science at Pawhuska for three years before entering the Bartlesville Public School system.  She taught 7th grade life science at Central Middle School for 15 years, then moved to the Mid-High School in 2002.  She is a National Board Certified teacher in the area of Early Adolescent Science.  She is married and has two children; Craig is a sophomore at the Mid-High and Beth is a 7th grader at Madison.

Theresa Keller

I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Secondary Science Education. My area of interests are biology and physical science. I have two Yorkshire Terrier dogs named Haley and Daisy. My hobbies include reading and scrapbooking.

 

Gary Layman

Mr. Layman has been teaching at the Mid-High since 1998. His area of interest is Biology & Physical Science. He graduated from Oklahoma State University.

Mary Watson

Mrs. Watson began her teaching career at Bartlesville Mid-High in 1989.  She taught Biology for 3 years then moved to Rochester, MN where she taught Life Science and Biology for 7.5 years before returning to Bartlesville in 2000.  Mrs. Watson graduated from Kansas University but received her teaching certification through Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  Mrs.Watson is married to Mike and they have two children, a daughter named Michele that lives in Minneapolis, MN and a son named John that lives here in Bartlesville.  Her hobbies include bicycling, gardening and woodworking and traveling.
