Angela Babb Mrs. Babb
graduated with honors from NSU in 1994. She began teaching for the
Bartlesville district in 1996. Mrs. Babb and her husband have five
children, four of whom are grown. In her spare time, Mrs. Babb loves to
read, paint, travel with the family, white water raft, work in her
flower bed and bike ride. |

Sandy Bliss Miss Bliss
received her bachelor's degree and certification in special education
from OU in 1980; she earned her master's and further certification in
1987 from OSU. Miss Bliss began working for the Bartlesville Public
Schools in 1993. Priot to that she taught at Owasso and Sequoyah. She
has completed registry trainings in the following areas: Traumatic Brain
Injury, Autism and Multiple Disabilities/Deaf Blindness and Assistive
Technology Training. Miss Bliss is the Director of the Extended School
Year Program and the Special Olympics Head Coach for Bartlesville School
System. She was Teacher of the Year for Mills Elementary in Owasso,
1992-1993 and Teacher of the Year, Bartlesville Mid-High 2003-2004. Miss
Bliss has 2 cats and a dog. She enjoys reading, sewing and decorative
painting. |

Jacki Deiter
This is Mrs. Deiter's first year at the Mid-High. She
graduated from Hope College, which is located in Holland, Michigan. She
and her husband Brandon were just married this past May and moved to
Bartlesville in June. She enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and spending
time with her family. |

Lora Hartmann Mrs.
Hartmann has been teaching at Bartlesville Mid-High for six years. She
received her bachelors in English education and her masters in education
at Northeastern State University, and holds teaching certifications in
English and special education. Mrs. Hartmann is married to Brian; they
have a dog (Rufus Sue), a cat (Linus), and a bird (Zee Bee Lou).

Debbie Harvey Mrs. Harvey
graduated and obtained her bachelor’s from Georgia Southwestern College.
She has 23 years of experience in teaching special education. She has
taught in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and now Oklahoma She is
married to Ed and they have 4 children; her hobbies are selling
antiques, reading and swimming. |

Danny Hastings Mr. Hastings
is currently enjoying his tenth year of teaching special education
students at the Mid High. Mr. Hastings graduated from Sooner High
School (now the Mid High) in 1969. After receiving an honorable
discharge from the Marine Corps, Mr. Hastings attended the University of
Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. Later, Mr.
Hastings attended Oklahoma State University and earned a Masters Degree
in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership. Mr. Hastings has two incredible
daughters and enjoys creating original music, reading non-fiction books,
camping and fishing in Colorado, and watching the University of Oklahoma
play football. |

Opal Upshaw
Mrs. Upshaw received her Bachelors
degree from Central State University (now known as the University of
Central Oklahoma). She began her teaching career in her hometown
of Ponca City in 1979 where she taught at a junior high school. She has
taught in the Bartlesville school district since 2003. She is married
to Steve, and they have two college age children: Aaron
will graduate with a Finance degree in May 2008 and Lara, a junior, is
majoring in Communications at the University of Oklahoma. In her free time, she enjoys reading,
cooking, watching movies and attending church activities. |
