The Lowe Family Young Scholars Program recently announced its class for the 2008-09 academic year.
The group includes Jane Phillips Elementary School students Kaitlyn Phillips (fifth grade), Cayleigh Hoover (fifth grade) and Christopher Harris (fourth grade) as well as Central Middle School's Vanessa Carreno (eighth grade) and Danielle McCarty (sixth grade).
The Lowe Family Young Scholars Program, a mentoring-based scholarship program which helps students realize their dream of one day attending a college or university, currently features 21 students.
