Work continues on Custer Stadium turf project
	Work continued on the Custer Stadium artificial turf project Aug. 22 on the Bartlesville High School campus. The turf is expected to be ready for play when the Bruins play their 2008 varsity football home opener against Stillwater on Sept. 5. The contest is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. The turf has been put into place and the yard lines and markers added. Work crews have sewn the words “Bruins” into the south end zone turf and were working on “Bartlesville” in the north end zone on Aug. 22. The mid-field logo will soon be sewn into place.
