The Kiwanis Club of Bartlesville honored Jack Wiseman on July 30 at the Bartlesville Community Center during a regular meeting with the Kiwanis Hockensmith Award for “Outstanding Eighth Grade Boy of the Year.” During the 2007-08 academic year, Wiseman (pictured center) maintained a 4.0 grade point average while participating in baseball, football, track, orchestra and his church youth group while a student at Central Middle School. Wiseman will be a freshman at the Bartlesville Mid-High School this year. While being honored by the Kiwanis, Wiseman received a $200 savings bond as well as a plaque.
