Purpose: Students will test objects and determine whether or not that object acts as a conductor or insulator of electricity.
Summary: A simple circuit is constructed and students use this to test objects in the room to determine whether they are conductors or insulators.

Materials:
- one student worksheet
- one battery in a battery holder
- three alligator clips or 3 12" copper wire (20-22 gauge)
- 1 amp bulb in socket
