Objectives:

  1. The motion of an object can be measured. The position of an object, its speed and direction can be represented on a graph.

Time Range:
3rd quarter; two weeks

Suggested Teaching Strategies:
Introduce Newton's Laws of Motion, vocabulary relating to acceleration, force, and speed, and allow for activities that demonstrate friction, resistance, acceleration, deceleration, momentum, and inertia.
