2. Transfer of Energy

Objectives:

  1. Energy exists in many forms such as heat, light, electricity, mechanical motion, and sound. Energy can be transferred in various ways.

Time Range:
4th quarter; five weeks

Suggested Teaching Strategies:
This objective is broken into several units: Electricity, Energy Sources, such as Light & Sound, Mechanical and Chemical Energy.

Several units cover this objective. They teach sources of energy, that energy is never created or destroyed, the first and the second law of thermodynamics.
